Terms of Service
The short version
- Sondagio is free. Poll averages, maps, results and turning points will stay free; Sondagio Pro (later) adds probabilities, detailed intervals and alerts.
- Our averages, estimates and forecasts are statistics, not polls, and not advice. Check the sources before relying on them.
- Cite and embed us freely, with credit and a link. Don't scrape at scale, resell, or pass our figures off as polls.
- If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at USD $100.
- Wyoming law applies, without taking away rights your local consumer law gives you.
1. Acceptance
By using sondagio.com, its embeds or feeds, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
Sondagio publishes averages of published opinion polls, election calendars, maps of official results, model estimates (for example by region) and forecasts. Each figure is computed with the method we publish on the site, and each poll links to its original source.
We work to keep figures accurate and current but make no guarantee that they are complete, error-free or updated at any particular time. Updates may pause where the law restricts publication (for example poll blackouts or election-day rules).
3. Not advice, and not a poll
An average or a model estimate is not a poll and does not predict a result with certainty. Sondagio takes no side: we are not affiliated with any party, candidate, pollster or government. Do not use our figures as the sole basis for any consequential decision.
4. Sources and content
Poll figures belong to the pollsters and media that published them; we link to each one. Some compilations come from Wikipedia under CC BY-SA 4.0, credited where used. Official results come from electoral authorities. Our averages, estimates, forecasts, text and design are Sondagio's own work.
5. What you can and can't do
You may read Sondagio, cite its figures with the credit "Source: Sondagio" and a link, and embed our maps with the embed code we provide.
You may not:
- Scrape or systematically copy the site, or resell its content or data.
- Present Sondagio averages or estimates as polls, or remove our credit from them.
- Use Sondagio to mislead voters, impersonate us, or harm others.
- Circumvent rate limits or technical access controls, or use our content to train AI models without written permission.
6. Sondagio Pro
Sondagio Pro is not yet open. Its price, billing and cancellation terms will be published here before any sale. Public data (averages, maps, results) will never be put behind a paywall.
7. Intellectual property
The Sondagio name, wordmark, design, code and original content are owned by nwsly, Inc. and protected by US and international law. Third-party data remains its owners'.
8. Disclaimers
Sondagio is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these Terms or your use of Sondagio is limited to USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify nwsly, Inc. against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, except where the consumer-protection law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim at home.
12. Changes and contact
